Honfei Flight Controls Technology Co., Ltd. (Hereafter referred to as Honfei) is an equity joint venture of limited liability entered into by Honeywell (China) Co., Ltd. and AVIC Xi\u2019an Flight Automatic Control Technology Ltd with its registration in Xi\u2019an High-Tech Zone, Xi\u2019an, ShaanXi Province. The business scope of Honfei consists of design, research, integration, production, assembly, testing of civil aircraft flight control system and electronic R&D, sales of independent R&D products, and correlated components. Relying on the support of the world-class parent companies, it provides the whole lifecycle integrated solutions of flight control systems and products, with the comprehensive engineering capabilities of Research &Development, production, testing, and simulation; as well as the complicated global cooperative project management and supply chain management capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shareholder of the Honeywell (China) Co., Ltd. , Honeywell International, Inc. is registered in the State of Delaware USA, and is the owner of the \u201cHoneywell\u201d logo.  Honeywell International, Inc. is a World 500 Fortunate Enterprise. China as one of the most developing markets in the global economy, Honeywell pays extraordinary attention to cooperation with China, and takes China as an important international trade and investment partner. Therefore, Honeywell International takes China as the priority of the capital investment in Asia area in the next ten years of the investment plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 1960, AVIC Xi’an Flight Automatic Control Research Institute has more than 3,000 employees, including more than 2,000 engineering technical personnel. It is the Research  & Development center of guidance, navigation and control technologies in aviation industry of China.  It is engaged in products design, development, production and after-sale service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To support the C919 project execution, COMAC started up the C919 program at the end of 2008, first flight in 2017. FACRI and Honeywell aerospace made a joint bidding in 2009, and got the supplier qualification of the COMAC C919 flight control system. For this purpose, FACRI and Honeywell established a joint venture Honfei in Xi\u2019an, ShaanXi, and Honfei will take COMAC C919 flight control system as the opportunity to expand the global market of commercial aircraft flight control system products and develop the product FAA and EASA airworthiness certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
